When To Introduce Shoes To Your Child

"When should I introduce shoes to my child?"

ANSWER-

Here is one of my BIGGEST parenting tips - introduce shoes early, often, and briefly BEFORE the first time you really need to have your child wear them.

For many reasons, primarily shoes not only make it more challenging for your child to walk, as they take away some of the gripping/feedback from the ground, but they are also something totally foreign and semi-restricting. This means your child could definitely NOT want them on.

Getting them used to wearing shoes for brief periods can be SO helpful so that the first time you really need them to keep them on for safety, they will!

So when it comes to shoes, think EARLY, OFTEN, and BRIEF introductions!
